"Capturing Precious Moments: The Art of Newborn Photography in Logan, Utah"

Newborn sessions are special sessions to capture all the tiny details and faces your new baby makes! Your baby will grow and change so much in the first year and being a newborn photographer that services the Cache Valley area I know how to capture every perfect feature of your baby.

What Happens During A Newborn Session?

During your newborn photoshoot I will get a verity of photos with you, the baby, and the whole family. I love getting photo's of Mom and Dad holding their newest addition, these are images that are perfect to showcase in your home on the family wall! While detail and solo shots of your newborn are beautiful to fill the baby album or walls of the nursery with. These photos will be in your family for generations, this is why I take my time to get beautiful images of your family.

I normally start with the family photos first, specially if you have younger kids as they tend to get restless during the session. After the family photo's I will continue on to sibling photos with your baby. At this point the baby will be laying down either on a bed or on a soft blanket on the ground and I will move on to some solo shots so we do not disturbed your newborn if they are peacefully sleeping at this point. Next I will bring Mom and Dad over for some lovingly photos with their little baby. These will be closeups of the baby in your arms, on your chest, and nose to nose. Once I get these shots I will bring the family over for some more family shots in a different area of the studio / home (if you choose a in home session). At this point depending on how sleepy your baby is I will have you lay your little one down in a bassinet or crib for some more solo shots. This is where I get more detail shots of your newborn like their tiny hands, toes, nose, ears, cheeks, feet, and pouty faces. Finally I will bring the family over for a few more sweet photos together with the baby and ask if you have any photos that you want or any special images you wish to capture.

How Long Till I Get My Gallery Back?

I like to send a sneak peak of my newborn sessions within 48 hours where I send you 5-7 images. You will be able to download and share these images while you are waiting to see the full gallery. These images are fully edited and gives you a good idea of how your full gallery will look like once you receive it. The sneak peak will be sent via your own personal link and a download code will also be provided. This link will be the same one you will use to view the full gallery once it is ready. It can take up to 2 weeks to get your full gallery back after your session. Every gallery will have a average of 50-75 images in the final finished product.
