One of the things that most couples whom I photograph have a special reason for wanting to book a boudoir session. Maybe it's a birthday, maternity shoot, or pre-wedding sesh! But for this couple it was their 14-year Anniversary!
How amazing!
I'll be honest I feel like a boudoir session can be for whatever reason whenever. But there's something about anniversaries that make it feel that much more special and intimate.
For this couple they choose to stay at the Anniversary Inn here in lovely Logan Utah. They like to spend their anniversaries every year at one of these cool themed rooms! They have been to Boise, Salt Lake, and Logan a few times. However, they decided this time with booking a cool Biker themed room for their 14th momma wanted to spoil herself a little and create a beautiful gift to give her hubby this year!
(Let's call my stunning Momma J) J and her hubs have 3 children together and actually live a few hours away from Logan. So, I was honored J wanted me to capture some intimate photos for their anniversary this July. I my self-have a little one, so I know how nice it feels to get dolled up and put something cute on for some well-deserved photos! (And when the Husband is all but jumping up and down for some boudoir photos may as well treat yourself right?)
Once I had come over and setup all my gear J's Husband left to run some errands while us girls got to make some magic!
The Anniversary Inn
For anyone who hasn't been to any of the Anniversary Inn's in Utah I defiantly think you need to go one of these years. Even if that's not really one of your things they offer a romantic evening for you and your loved one to enjoy together. They have little packages like wine & Champine, little bites, desserts, and even little keepsakes. Depending on where you book the rooms are pretty spacious and are typically right around downtown or Mainstreet. Which means you and your loved one can go on little date nights if your wish!
The Inn has photos of all their rooms so you can check them out before booking. Which means if you choose to setup a boudoir session you can also send the photos to your photographer and get a good feel for how you want to start it. Since J booked the biker room, we had a few fun places to take her photos.
The Biker Room
This room is (just as the name suggest) a motorcycle themed room completed with red walls, red pool table, large jet bathtub, pinball machine, little bar area and even a classic black full-sized motorcycle in the main room. With this room we were able to get a few BOMB setups for J's boudoir session without having to leave the Hotel.
Built For Boudoir Seduction
This room has a very dark and edgy feel to it. Perfect for the girls who love a little darkness to their sessions! If you want to show off how much of a bad chick you are and you want something edgy like this for your boudoir session than you NEED to book one my minis this year!
